The Pump Users Group (PUG) is a forum of nuclear utility and vendor representatives formed to develop and exchange technical information on the design, testing, and maintenance of power plant pumps to increase reliability, improve performance, and ensure safe and efficient operation.
2020 Meeting Details
July 20 - 23, 2020
Monday - Training day: Utility attendees will be given the opportunity to visit Hayward Tyler's facility in nearby Colchester, VT. Transportation will be provided, departing the hotel at 8:30 AM and returning at 3:30 PM. After a shop tour, the group will rotate through workshops on:
- Performance testing fundamentals
- Reverse engineering/QA
- Positive displacement pump fundamentals
- Impeller balancing techniques
- Pump/Motor hands on workshop
There will also be a spouse event that day for attendees participating in the training. Stay tuned for details.
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday: The PUG Meeting will take place each day at the hotel from 8 AM until 4:30 PM. There will be a reception among the exhibits on Tuesday, 4:30-6:30 PM. You can dismantle anytime after 12 noon on Thursday.

PUG Meeting fees:
- $500 for meeting attendee (non-presenting utility or vendor presenter)
- $250 for utility presenter
- $1,250 for exhibit space plus one attendee
